The house is the final phase of a larger architectural composition that began with the construction of two holiday cabins on the same hillside site. All three buildings share a common concept: integrating architecture into the natural landscape while framing panoramic views of the Karkonosze Mountains. An abandoned quarry discovered next to the site became the project's main inspiration. Like the two earlier cabins, the house takes the form of a sculpted rock block. Its geometry combines a square floor plan with a diagonal roof ridge, creating a compact yet dynamic volume. The interior was designed so that every room frames a selected view of the landscape. A six-metre panoramic window defines the living area, opening the house towards the mountains, while a deep window seat provides a place for relaxation and remote work. The open-plan living space connects to a mezzanine above. The basement extends beyond the main volume, creating a terrace at ground level and a second covered terrace below, linked to a winter garden. The house is clad in larch with a stone plinth, while existing vegetation was largely preserved and paths and driveways were finished with natural gravel. In this project, it became clear that both form and function follow the landscape. The form follows its inspiration and blends subtly into the natural surroundings, while the function follows the view.
