The Wellness and Inclusion Park transforms the former hospital site into an educational landscape where architecture, nature, and universal design foster learning, health, and social interaction. Rather than erasing the traces left by the demolition, the project reuses the existing excavations and topography to create a park that minimizes environmental impact while transforming the site's memory into an opportunity to regenerate public space. Inspired by environmental psychology, neuroscience, and human development, the park encourages sensory exploration, psychomotor development, inclusive play, and contact with nature as essential tools for well-being. Its pathways, gardens, and community spaces bring together children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and people with disabilities, removing physical and social barriers. Art, music, craftsmanship, and cultural workshops position older adults as active transmitters of knowledge, strengthening cultural identity through intergenerational learning. More than a park, the project is a landscape that educates through experience, promoting empathy, memory, inclusion, and belonging while building a healthier, more resilient, and more connected community.
