ONTO Álvaro Obregón is located in Roma Norte, one of Mexico City’s most dynamic neighborhoods, known for its mix of local and international residents. Conceived as a hospitality-driven residential model, the project offers hotel-style suites that combine short- and mid-term stays with real estate investment. The building employs a hybrid structure of exposed prefabricated timber and concrete, expressed through a double façade supported by timber beams and concrete columns. Set back from the avenue, the façade creates a vegetated buffer that reduces noise and forms a lobby-like promenade leading to the entrance. At street level, a restaurant activates the public realm and strengthens ties with the neighborhood. The project is organized into 2 towers connected by curved volumes that generate landscaped basement patios with gravel floors, monolithic seating, and native vegetation. Vertical gardens and a central light and ventilation shaft bring greenery, daylight, and fresh air to every level. The building contains eight habitable levels, including one basement floor, with rooms oriented toward a rear garden. A rooftop garden with a bar and outdoor dining area offers panoramic views and spaces for social interaction. Supported by rainwater harvesting and abundant native planting throughout, ONTO Álvaro Obregón creates a green urban refuge that merges hospitality, sustainability, and community in the heart of the city.
