The Seoul Robot & AI Museum (RAIM), international competition winning project in 2019 designed by MAA- Melike Altınışık Architects, is conceived as a cultural landmark and catalyst for the 4th Industrial Revolution. MAA envisioned RAIM not as a conventional museum, but as a living architectural organism—an immersive environment where design, technology, and human experience converge. Its spherical, non-directional form and fluid surfaces symbolize the evolving, adaptive nature of robotics and AI, while the building’s construction and spatial organization embody the very innovations it showcases. The project was realized in collaboration between MAA and WITHWORKS Architects & Engineers from 2019 to 2024, exemplifies cutting-edge architectural and construction methodologies.
