Sunset Park is a multi-family residential building located in Przemyśl, Poland. The site features varied topography and outstanding views. The building was carefully integrated into the landscape to make the panorama of the city and its surroundings an essential part of everyday life. The project demonstrates how residential architecture can encourage a stronger awareness of the surrounding landscape and create a lasting connection with place. The corridor layout and the east-west orientation of the apartments maximize daylight and open the interiors to changing light conditions and scenic views. Spacious balconies, loggias, corner windows and French windows blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces. They encourage residents to spend more time outside and experience the natural rhythm of the day and the changing seasons. The building's distinctive identity is defined by dynamically arranged balconies made of light architectural concrete. Although the balcony slabs are repetitive in shape and size, their alternating composition creates a dynamic façade. The project shows how simple modular elements can produce a rich architectural expression. As part of a cohesive residential development, Sunset Park combines functional living spaces with a consistent architectural identity. It demonstrates that well-designed housing does more than meet practical needs. It also shapes the way people perceive their surroundings and encourages everyday engagement with the landscape.
